What is Analytic Asian Philosophy?

  • Analytic Asian Philosophy is a new trend of contemporary philosophy that interprets Asian thoughts such as Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, Hinduism, Kyoto school & etc. through perspectives of analytic philosophy in a broad sense and contemporary classical or non-classical logic.
  • It aims to shed new lights to Asian thoughts, to revive them as viable philosophical options, to enhance contemporary conceptual apparatuses, and finally to create novel philosophical systems.
